than forty faculty members in the Department of Medicine who carry
out basic and translational research in molecular medicine. The Department
of Medicine is divided into sections, which may be contacted directly
for information about the research activities of the section.

the Web. Students may also carry out dissertation research in the
laboratories of the many joint faculty from other departments who
have secondary appointments in the Graduate Program in Molecular Medicine.
